Prominent reality in the Sicilian territory, Tasca d'Almerita boasts over two hundred years of history. The company is divided into five estates, the most important of which is Regaleali , which with its wheat fields, vineyards and hills is considered a real "soul landscape".

Here, where the characteristic warm sun of Sicily meets the cold of the continental climate of the Madonite peaks, some of the wines that made the history of Sicilian viticulture were born . Rosso del Conte (96 pt Suckling) , blend of Nero d'Avola and Perricone, is remembered as the first Sicilian cru, a pioneering choice also adopted for two other among the most appreciated labels of the estate: Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon implanted in the Vigna San Francesco in 1985. The "Golden Wedding" also dates back to these years: created to celebrate 50 years of marriage with the wife Franca, it is a blend of Insolia and Sauvignon characterized by an original stylistic code that combines the natives to the international varieties and which is also found in the "Leone d'Almerita", where Cataratto goes well with Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon and Traminer .
