Santa Teresa is the name of an old distillery founded in 1976 in the mountainous Aragua Valley , Venezuela , where nature offers everything necessary for the production of a high quality rum . Deeply convinced of the fact that to get the most out of the latter it is necessary to follow its rhythms in its total respect, the Vollmer family has been producing rum for more than 200 years now.

This is how hacienda and rum Santa Teresa 1976 were born to celebrate the bicentenary of the company in 1996. Intense and elegant with blends aged up to 35 years in oak barrels where the bourbon whiskey is first aged, the rum is subsequently elaborated according to the Solera artisanal method to give life to a dry, soft and balanced distillate. An extract of happiness that seals the entire path of the company, thanks to the happy intuition of Alberto Vollmer Herrera, a member of the fourth generation of the family.
