Lisini

The Lisini winery is one of the oldest production companies present in the Montalcino terroir . A noble family strongly rooted in the territory of Sant'Angelo al Colle, whose genealogical tree allows us to look back until the sixteenth century, long before we started talking about Montalcino wines.

Today Lisini extends for about 24 hectares of vineyards scattered in different parcels, which, affected by different microclimates, are able to give life to authentic and territorial wines , sometimes in contrast with each other even though they are born only a few kilometers away. It is therefore the terroir that speaks, and is expressed through the only interpreter admitted among the company's rows, Sangiovese . A grape worked with sumptuous methods, able to express itself on the highest quality levels, giving life to expressive and incisive labels .

Lisini's Rosso di Montalcino originates in Sant'Angelo in Colle, near Montalcino, in the same vineyards from which the better known Brunello comes to life.

It is produced exclusively from Sangiovese Grosso grapes, harvested by hand in plastic boxes with careful selection of the bunches. The must ferments for 18-24 days in vitrified cement tanks, at a temperature between 28 and 30°C. Brunello di Montalcino di Lisini is located in the hamlet of Sant'Angelo in Colle, a few kilometers from the center of Montalcino.

It is produced entirely from carefully selected Sangiovese Grosso grapes.
