To fully understand the style of the Maison, it is important to taste Brut Sans Année, a true symbol wine, which paradigmatically condenses the Champagne idea of each producer.

Ayala

Maison Ayala is based in Aÿ, in the Vallée de la Marne and produces quality Champagne with cuvées in which the percentage of Chardonnay is progressively growing. The base wines are malolactic and dosages are lowering for all types . They are Champagne with a harmonious, broad, complex and persistent style.

Billecart-Salmon

The headquarters of the Maison Billecart-Salmon is in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ in the Vallée de la Marne. It produces a wide range of Champagne. The entry Cuvées are rich, soft and intense, with vinous notes and rather high dosages. The Millesimati, on the other hand, are elegant and powerful, with a beautiful structure and persistence.

Bollinger

James Bond's favorite Champagne is produced in Aÿ, in the Vallée de la Marne. The cuvées are mainly composed of Pinot Noir , Pinot Meunier and a small percentage of Chardonnay. The vinification is done in wood and the reserve wines are stored in Magnum bottles. Bollinger Champagnes are mainly characterized by the use of wood, which makes the profile of the wines broad, rich and complex.

Delamotte

Ancient Maison founded in 1760 with headquarters in Le Meusnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, the area that produces the best chardonnays in the whole region. The most famous Champagnes are the Blanc de Blancs Brut and Millesimati. Wines with a large and harmonious bouquet, pleasantly fruity and with a good persistence of taste.

Deutz

Maison Deutz is located in Aÿ, in the Vallée de la Marne. Production is characterized by the use of steel only and by the performance of malolactic fermentation, which softens the high acidity somewhat. Champagne Deutz are known and appreciated above all for their expressive finesse, freshness and elegance.

Paul Goerg

Paul Goerg is the name that the Coopérative de la Goutte d'Or took up in 1984, based in Vertus in the Côte des Blancs. The base wines are aged in steel and reserve wines are always kept in steel. Paul Goerg Champagnes perfectly represent the style of Vertus and cuvées with a prevalence of Chardonnay. They are pure, linear and crystalline, of great freshness and minerality.

Charles Heidsieck

The famous Maison of Reims was among the first to export to the United States and Russia. Champagnes are born from a selection of over 120 crus with different characteristics. They are Champagne put on the market only after long periods of aging and which conquer for elegance, harmony, for the rich, complex and persistent bouquet. Excellent labels that can age very well over time, with refined evolutions towards tertiary aromas.

Jacquesson

La Maison di Dizy, in the Vallée de la Marne, is one of the reference brands for fans. The Jacquesson vineyards are located in the Grand Cru d'Aÿ, Avize, Oiry and Premier Cru d'Hautvillers, Dizy and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. Characteristic of the Maison is the Extra-Brut dosage of Champagnes and the custom of vinifying wood for most of the base wines. They are rich, complex and powerful Champagne, particularly suitable for tasting throughout the meal.

Krug

The historic Maison of Reims produces prestigious Champagne starting from the Grand Cuvée Brut sans année. The assemblages foresee the presence of the three main vines of the region: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, coming from a dozen different Cru. Krug Champagnes are characterized by a complex, broad, evolved style with slightly oxidative notes, due to base wines aged in old barriques. They are powerful and persistent Champagne, to be enjoyed throughout the meal even with important combinations.

Laurent Perrier

Laurent Perrier is a historical brand based in Tours-sur-Marne in the Valée de la Marne. It manages around 150 hectares of vineyards and the cuvée sans année are appreciated above all for their pleasantly fresh and immediate style, while the vintage wines are more intense, rich and complex Champagne. Note the Rosé , certainly among the most interesting labels of the Maison.

Moët & Chandon

The famous Maison of Épernay represents one of the best known brands on international markets, manages 1,200 hectares and markets 20% of Champagne. The most famous label is the mythical Dom Pérignon Brut. However, the Maison's style is mainly represented by the Brut Impérial, the most widespread label on the market. It is a classic cuvée composed of 30-40% of Pinot Noir, 30-40% of Pinot Meunier and 20-30% of Chardonnay, a harmonious, very balanced Champagne, extremely pleasant to drink at the time of the aperitif.

GH Mumm & C.

Mumm is one of the largest and best known Champagne houses. The company is based in Reims and manages over 200 hectares of vineyards with presence in many famous Cru: Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy, Verzenay, Avize, Cramant and Mailly. The range of Champagnes is very wide. However the Champagne symbol of the Maison and the famous Cordon Rouge Brut (45% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 25% pinot meunier), immediate and pleasant, perfect for an aperitif.

Pannier

Maison Pannier is based in Chateau-Thierry in the Vallée de la Marne. The range of Champagnes is very rich and varied and it is difficult to outline a precise and univocal style. The Maison is characterized by cuvées marked by the presence of Pinot Meunier and by a minimum refinement on yeasts of 3 years.

Perrier-Jouët

Maison Perrier-Jouët was founded in 1811 in Épernay and manages vineyards in the prestigious Cramant, Avize, Dizy, Aÿ, Maully and Verzenay cru. Among the most famous Champagnes are the three Cuvée Belle Époque Brut Millesimé, Rosé Millesimé and Blanc de Blancs Millesimé. Champagne capable of combining refined elegance with richness and gustatory complexity.

Louis Roederer

Another historic Maison of Reimes is Louis Roeder, which owns over 200 hectares, of which eighty in the Côte des Blancs. The tradition of the Maison is not to subject wines to malolactic fermentation and to preserve reserves in oak barriques. Louis Roeder Champagnes are elegant, harmonious and ample. The prevalence of Pinot Noir gives body, structure, gustatory depth and persistence.

Pol Roger

La Maison is located in Épernay and is one of the brands of excellence in the region. The base wines are all aged in steel and perform malolactic fermentation. The Pol Roger style is distinguished by elegance, harmony, richness and gustatory depth. Great labels, to be enjoyed throughout the meal.

Bruno Paillard

Although the Maison was born only in 1981, it soon established itself as one of the most interesting. The company is located in Reims and the 30 hectares of vineyards are divided into many small parcels, almost all located in the Grand Cru of Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Vertus, Villeneuve, Bouzy, Verzenay, Les Riceys, Festigny and Mareuille- Port. For the production of Champagnes only the first pressing of the first soft pressing is used. The base wines are vinified mostly in steel and only a small percentage in wood. They are lightly dosed Champagne, which make themselves loved for their great elegance, freshness and expressive harmony.

Joseph Perrier

Maison Joseph Perrier is located in Châlons-en-Champagne, the capital of the Marne department. It manages vineyards in Cumières, Hautvillers, Damery mainly of Pinot Noir, and in part of Chardonnay, while Pinot Meunier comes from Verneuil. Joseph Perrier Champagnes are famous for their great elegance, balance, harmony and lively freshness.

Pommery

It is one of the best known historical brands. The company is located in Reims and was founded in 1836. Among the Champagnes of the base line the best known is the Brut Royal, with a fresh and fruity style, perfect for an aperitif. The vintage cuvées are more complex, rich and persistent.

Ruinart

It is the oldest Maison of Champagne, founded way back in 1729 in Reims. The cuvées are made with a clear prevalence of Chardonnay, which comes from both the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Ruinart Champagnes are famous for their harmony and elegance, starting from the simplest labels to the prestigious Dom Ruinard. To mention the Rosé, among the best of the denomination.

Salon

La Maison Salon is located on the Côte des Blancs in Le Meusnil-sur-Oger. Faithful to the vocation of the territory, it produces Champagne Blanc de Blancs with 100% Chardonnay. A single vintage label produced exclusively in the best vintages, a sign of a search for absolute quality. The minimum aging period on the lees is 8 years and wines always have a very low dosage. It is a rich, generous Champagne with evolved and persistent aromas. Among the best thousandths: 1990, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2004.

Taittinger

Famous name among the Maison of Reims, Taittinger manages almost 300 hectares of vineyards in about thirty Cru. All vins clairs perform malolactic fermentation to soften acidity a little. The style of the Maison is captivating, with Champagne with a broad, harmonious and fruity profile, with good structure and persistence.

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin

Founded in 1772 in Reims, it is one of the most famous Maison in the world. Base wines are traditionally aged in steel and subjected to malolactic fermentation to soften their profile. The best known label is the Brut Carte Jeaune, the Maison's true calling card. A cuvée (50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier) with a pleasantly immediate style, with fresh citrus notes and soft hints of pain brioches.
