Barolo is considered one of the largest, if not the largest ever among the great reds produced in Italy. Thanks to the suitable soils and an ideal climate, the Nebbiolo grape expresses itself in the area of the Barolo Denomination on absolute quality levels. It is difficult to choose the best labels, also because in the various areas, La Morra, Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte, Castiglione Falletto, Barolo, etc ... different wines are produced, in relation to the various composition of the soils and the exposures. However, we will try to give some general indications on the most prestigious labels, which can be found on the market.

Barolo Monfortino Riserva DOCG Giacomo Conterno

An exclusive and precious bottle, now entered into the legend. The grapes of the Francia vineyard, in the southern area of Serralunga d'Alba, give a Barolo of elegance, aromatic complexity and persistence of unparalleled finesse.

Barolo DOCG, Bartolo Mascarello

It is the great traditional Barolo, with a rigorous and austere style, made with the grapes of the best Cru di Barolo and La Morra and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels.

Barolo Falletto Vigna Le Rocche DOCG, Bruno Giacosa

A label for connoisseurs, produced by one of the great names of the Langhe with the grapes of the Le Rocche di Castiglione Falletto vineyard. Aristocratic and traditional is one of the reference bottles of the denomination.

Barolo Ester Canale Rosso Poderi of the Antica Vigna Rionda DOCG, Giovanni Rosso

From a 70-year-old vineyard, grown in the famous Cru Vigna Rionda of Serralunga d'Alba, a deep, intense, complex, long-lasting and highly persistent Barolo is born.

Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata DOCG, Roberto Voerzio

All the finesse, the expressive elegance of one of the most noble and famous Cru in the La Morra area. A reference label for those who love refined, elegant Barolo made of precious nuances.

Barolo Monprivato DOCG, Giuseppe Mascarello

One of the historically most famous Cru of the denomination gives a Barolo famous for its traditional, elegant, intense and long-lasting style. A great classic.

Barolo Bricco Rocche DOCG, Ceretto

It comes from a small plot in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, at over 350 meters above sea level, historically famous for the quality of its wines. A Barolo of great elegance, intense and refined.
