Guado al Tasso - The Bolgheri of Marchesi Antinori

Owned by the Marquis Antinori family since 1930, the prestigious Tuscan company of Guado al Tasso stands near Bolgheri and extends its vineyards in the center of the so-called " Bolgheri amphitheater ": the verdant hills surrounding the ancient medieval village which extend up to sea in an extraordinary plain that takes on a particular shape. Here, the nearby presence of the sea gives the vineyards an optimal climate , with beneficial and constant sea breezes that mitigate the summer heat and cold winter days.

The company's 300 hectares of vineyards, located in the small and famous DOC Bolgheri, are mainly grown in Vermentino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and other minor varieties.
