Exclusive denomination of Franciacorta , Satèn are produced exclusively from white berried grapes (mainly Chardonnay) and characterized by a lower pressure than the other classic method sparkling wines of the denomination, a factor that gives them the characteristic velvety taste and "silky foam" .

The perlage of these wines is in fact very fine and persistent, almost creamy . Fresh and summery, it goes perfectly with fish salads, fish carpaccio and seafood, or as an aperitif.
