Donne Fittipaldi - An all-female Bolgheri

Donne Fittipaldi is a link with the Bolgheri territory and its traditions, a search for harmony and elegance for its wines, in maximum naturalness . A necessary interpreter of a small corner of Paradise located in the recognized municipality of Castagneto Carducci, it offers Bolgheri (93 pt. James Suckling) in its most classic style, and its Superior version (93 pt. Robert Parker) , both aged in barriques: respectively the former is fresher and more impulsive, the latter more complex and structured, energetic, indomitable, the flagship of this production reality.

But Donne Fittipaldi is also a desire to experiment and enterprising women . Among the successful projects that Maria Fittipaldi Menarini and her four daughters are carrying out is certainly the pure Orpicchio Lady F (4 Grappoli Bibenda), white wine obtained from an ancient grape variety rediscovered thanks to the oenologist Emiliano Falsini , recognizable for singular and typical mix of peach, citrus, lychee and white flowers on the nose, which prelude to a fresh but also salty taste enhanced by the passage in barrique.

Bolgheri di Donne Fittipaldi was born in vineyards located in the Livorno town of Castagneto Carducci, in the heart of the magical Bolgheri terroir.

It is produced with a skilful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After a soft destemming, fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, for 15 days.
