Taittinger

Founded in Reims in 1932, Taittinger is today a top name in the region and one of the few family businesses among the major Champagne producers. Defined classy and stylish by Wine Spectator, which gives it 92 pt, it has always been characterized by the wise use of Chardonnay grapes. In 1952 the Maison created its "Cuvée de Prestige", produced with the best Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs, the legendary Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs (96 pt. Robert Parker), one of the perhaps best-performed experiments of Champagne Blanc de Blancs, a wine produced only from the best vintages to guarantee the highest quality: elegance, finesse and richness of hints ranging from candied citrus fruits to white flowers to more toasted, sweet and finally spicy notes.

An interesting experiment is the "Nocturne", a Champagne Sec, with a sugary residue of 17.5 g / l, with an evocative and tempting packaging, conceived to be consumed as an after-dinner and precisely during the course during the night.
