Anselmi

Verelese reality born at the dawn of the Second Post-war period, Anselmi's is the cellar that par excellence has been able to enhance and bring to the fore the wines of Garganega variety . While operating in Monforte d'Alpone, a Veronese area entirely within the confines of the Soave Classico DOC denomination, and while producing wines in which the Garganega reaches percentages equal to or greater than 90%, Anselmi promotes its labels under the Veneto IGT brand, in the form of protest against regulatory constraints he considered too bland and permissive.

The Anselmi wines are born from vineyards of the high Veronese hill, on soils rich in volcanic tuff which give a typical mineral imprint and are made with innovative means pursuing principles of measurement and sobriety. The highest quality peaks are reached by the plots of the historic areas of Soave, from I Capitelli, 5 Grappoli Bibenda to Capitel Croce, Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso: this selection represents the best of Garganega.
