Vicara
The Vicara winery extends between five municipalities - Salabue, Serralunga di Crea, Ozzano, Treville and Rosignano Monferrato - on the evocative hills between the Po and the Alessandria plain, in the extraordinary terroir that is Monferrato. Born from the common intent of Diego Visconti, Carlo Cassinis and Domenico Ravizza to create great wines respecting the tradition of these lands, which have always been the pride of wine. The land extends for 70 hectares, 40 of which are planted with vineyards and destined to the enhancement of native grapes such as Barbera, Grignolino, and Freisa. Agriculture follows the dictates of biodynamics, where Vicara has always believed, thanks to a conscious and environmentally friendly viticulture, capable of best expressing the qualities of the great protagonist of these lands, Barbera.
