Yu Sushi Sparkling Extra Brut Astoria
Description
The Astoria Extra Brut Millesimato Yu Sushi comes from vneyards located on the hilly land of the Val del Brun Estate, in the province of Treviso.
It is obtained from a skilful blend of white grapes typical of the Treviso area, hand-picked and selected in September. After the classic vinification processes, the sparkling process takes place according to the Charmat Method, with 20–25 days re-fermentation in a pressurized tank followed by another 15 days of permanence on the lees. Subsequently the wine ages in bottle for 4–6 weeks, before being bottled.
It is characterized by a pale straw yellow colour and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with strong fruity aromas of pear, citrus fruits and wisteria flowers. On the palate it is slightly acidic, pleasantly dry and harmonious.
Ideal to accompany sushi, sashimi and seafood crudités, this sparkling wine goes well with all fish dishes.
