Description
Mazzei's Toscana Mix 36 comes from a unique project, 4 decades of mass and clonal selection of Sangiovese grown on the Sienese hills.
It is produced with Sangiovese grapes from 36 different biotypes, whose bunches are harvested by hand in early October. The grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature of 26-28 ° C and macerated for 18 days. The wine is then placed in French oak barrels for 20 months before being bottled.
Mix 36 is a very fresh and elegant wine. The bouquet is complex and persistent and opens to the nose with hints of red fruits. In the mouth it is soft and full-bodied, very harmonious.
Perfect to accompany spiced roasted meats and stewed game, it is ideal to accompany mushroom and truffle dishes. Also excellent with medium and long-aged cheeses.
