Südtirol - Alto Adige Valle Isarco DOC Kerner 2019
Description
Kerner i n purity, Adler Kerner comes to life in the charming town of Klausen, Chiusa, in the province of Bolzano, in the magical Isarco Valley, the heart of South Tyrol, terroir traditionally extremely suited to viticulture. Adler von Klausen, literally, "Chiusa's eagle", is the symbol of the cellar which also stands out on the label and depicts the eagle, an animal that in symbolism represents cosmic power, absolute freedom and, therefore, life. The wine does not betray these expectations and is elegant and refined. The Kerner grape loves the light, gravelly and sandy soils of the highest and sun-exposed slopes of the middle Valle Isarco, from which a full-bodied and tasty wine is obtained which is highly appreciated. It is produced with grapes harvested by hand. A soft processing and pressing of the grapes follows the fermentation at controlled temperature in steel and aging in the same containers on the noble lees.
Ideal partner for light appetizers and mixed salads, it is excellent with egg or mushroom dishes and with grilled fish. Excellent as an aperitif.
