Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Lagrein 2022 Hofstätter

Hofstätter's Alto Adige Lagrein is located in vineyards located in the municipalities of Termeno on the Strada del Vino and Ora, in the province of Bolzano.

It is produced entirely with Lagrein grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in steel barrels at controlled temperature until the end of the same, in which the temperature is allowed to rise so as to improve the extraction of colors and flavors.

This Hofstätter Lagrein has a bright and bright ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense and complex bouquet, with spicy aromas that blend with hints of berries and violets. In the mouth it proves warm and harmonious, with a silky and round body, slightly spicy in the finish.

Perfect to accompany cold cuts and speck, it is ideal in combination with red meats, game and aged cheeses.
