Description
The Monferrato Rosso Montej of Villa Sparina was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Cortese, on the slopes of Monterotondo.
It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested during the month of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for about 2 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages for 4 months partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in barrique before being bottled.
It is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens an intense and persistent fruity bouquet. On the palate it is pleasantly round, with a fruity taste length.
Perfect to accompany first courses, it is ideal in combination with roasts and aged cheeses.
