Description
The Island of Rosian Nuraghi of Olianas is obtained from a skilful blend of Cannonau and Vermentino grapes. The Cannonau grapes come from the Sedda Sa Figu vineyard, from sandy-sandy soils that give elegance and freshness. The Vermentino grapes instead originate in the Porruddu vineyard, with dark brown soils with a loose texture with the presence of arenaceous marls which give the wine complexity and structure.
After a short pressing in contact with the skins, the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature for about 30 days. Followed by 5 months aging in steel for almost the whole mass, with a part (about 20%) that spends the same period in tonneaux.
It is a wine with a lively cherry pink color. The nose offers fresh floral sensations that are accompanied by delicate hints of cherry. In the mouth it shows a wine of great impact, showing the typical freshness of a white wine and the characteristic structure of Cannonau.
Delicious appetizer, it is ideal in combination with shellfish and white meat cooked on the grill.
