Chartreuse Verte (Green) is an ancient liqueur made in the cellars of the Grand Chartreuse Charterhouse in Voiron, France. The Carthusian monks produce it, two of whom are the only ones to know the 130 plants and flowers to be mixed and macerated to obtain this liqueur known all over the world and make it take on its typical natural color. Slow aging in oak barrels follows.

Chartreuse Verte has a pale aqua green color. The nose opens with a pungent and complex bouquet, with herbaceous notes of angelica, pine, lime cordial, mint, cumaru, anise and cocoa. The taste is excellent and warm, with hints of grated lemon, anise and tobacco.

Served cold, with ice, it is able to fully express its aromatic content. Ideal for an after dinner with friends, it is increasingly used in the preparation of long drinks.
