Champagne Brut AOC Premier Louis Roederer
Description
Louis Roederer's Champagne Brut Premier comes from grapes from selected vineyards in the Champagne region.
It is obtained from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes, harvested and selected only by hand starting from the last week of September. The fermentation takes place, separate for each variety, for a few weeks in oak barrels at controlled temperature. Once the Cuvée is made, at least 4 thousandths of it is added to it, for this reason it is called "multi-millésimé". Subsequently, the second fermentation takes place according to the Classic Method, by refermentation in the bottle for a few weeks, with an aging of 36 months on its Levites and a further 6 months in the bottle, before being placed on the market.
Champagne Brut Premier is characterized by a bright straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with intense aromas of fresh fruit and citrus, enriched with a characteristic hint of bread crust. On the palate it is fresh and delicate, with a subtle note of citrus and white flowers and a slight aroma of peppermint. It has a persistent and pleasantly fresh finish.
This Champagne is perfect to accompany shellfish, seafood and fish dishes in general.
