California Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 Robert Mondavi Winery
Description
This Cabernet Sauvignon was born on Robert Mondavi's Woodbridge estate, located near Lodi, in the county of San Joaquin in California.
It is produced entirely with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in French and American oak barrels. Refinement in glass follows.
It has a very intense ruby red color. The nose carries aromas of ripe plum, well accompanied by the herbaceous component, typical of the Cabernet grape variety, and citrus notes of cedar. In the mouth it shows an excellent balance, with distinct but not invasive flavors of blackberry and tobacco and a toasted received from the evolution in oak.
It goes perfectly with game, stewed meats and grilled white meats. Special with the classic American barbecue ribs.
