Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG Campogiovanni Il Quercione 2011 San Felice

The Quercione is a Brunello di Montalcino Riserva that sees the light only in exceptional vintages, the result of a careful selection of only Sangiovese grapes from the Campogiovanni estate.

Fermentation takes place with maceration in contact with the skins for 25 days at a temperature of 30 ° C. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to French oak tonneaux where it rests for 24 months, then it remains in the bottle for 36 months before being released on the market.

It has a very intense ruby color. On the nose it exudes penetrating aromas of ripe wild berries, but also notes of evolution that recall cocoa and leather. The flavor is full and warm, with sweet and velvety tannins.

Magnificent in the company of mixed grills and game, it is superb with truffle-based recipes.
