Bordeaux Supérieur AOC 2016 Château de Reignac
Description
It is a Bordeaux red that expresses the winemaking tradition of its terroir. We are in France, in one of the areas best known for its ability to give exciting red wines, fully recognizable for their engaging as well as elegant timbre.
It is composed - as in a typical Bordeaux cut - of Merlot grapes, present at 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon, in 25%, and Cabernet Franc, for the remaining 5%. A 16-month aging in wood allows the wine to enhance its natural complexity.
In the glass it has a beautiful ruby red color, very bright. The nose shows the traits of the fruit that distinguish it, declined in the flavors of blueberry, blackberry and cherry, against the background of a spicy texture and a pleasant vegetal tip. In the mouth it is soft but always very fine, made solid by an excellent body and persistent in the fresh sapid trail.
Ideal in accompaniment to a fillet with green pepper.
