Description
Barbera grapes in purity give life to this splendid wine, which was born in Diano d'Alba from a calcareous and clayey soil, which forces the vine to seek deeper nourishment, giving the wine a juicy and dense character. Vinification in steel tanks, with 12 days of maceration in contact with the skins.
Brilliant ruby red wine, the nose opens with strong hints of red fruit, cherry in alcohol, sweet spices and tobacco. In the mouth it is characterized by a very soft tannin, a large volume and a soft finish.
Very pleasant wine, of great persistence and easy to drink, it marries wonderfully elaborate and well-seasoned dishes such as croutons with ham or Arnaud lard. A must try with a cutting board of medium-aged cheeses, also in accompaniment to a truffle omelette and veal with tuna sauce.
