Description

Rum Diplomático Ambassador Selection is a blend of over 60 rums distilled in discontinuous alembic still, produced in a limited edition on the slopes of the Andes, in Venezuela. The maturation takes place for 12 years in oak barrels that previously contained bourbon, followed by an aging of 2 years in ex-sherry Pedro Ximenez barrels.

Intense copper in color with mahogany reflections, the Ambassador Selection opens to the nose with sweet hints of vanilla and cooked banana, enriched with hints of caramel, chocolate and almonds. In the mouth it proves powerful and creamy, with fruity and vanilla notes but also dark chocolate and coffee, with a pleasantly warm and persistent finish.

This rum is perfect to taste in moments dedicated to meditation.
